The Best Time To Visit Argentina

Argentina is a large country placed in the South America, between Chile on the left, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay on the right side and Bolivia above it. This country positively has to offer many dissimilar and arresting things for every tourist. You can do what ever you like along with things like skiing, hiking and horse ridding. What ever you select it's going to be an adventure for sure.

Before you start planning your trip you first need to conclude what would you like to see and do, and how many things you can see and do in your time of vacation. conclude if you want to go to the mountains or the sea (or country) and than start to think about some particular things like accommodations and flights.

Warmer or colder weather?

The Best Time To Visit Argentina

The first thing, after you conclude where are you going, is to see what is the weather like. As I said before, Argentina is a very big country so it's difficult to say what is the weather like in Argentina because it's dissimilar in dissimilar parts of the county. But I will tell you practically what can you expect and in what time of the year.

One thing that you maybe didn't know is that Argentine is placed in the Southern Hemisphere and by that it has reversed seasons. That means when it's snowing in the Us, in Argentina is summer. The weather varies nearby the country especially because of the Andes. You can find in Argentina everything, from subtropical in the north to cold in the south. The only place where the weather is positively unpredictable is the Andes. You can find there rainfall and flood but you can also find ultimate heat or even snow. There is also a unique hot and dry wind called Zonda.

Argentina is beautiful country and you can visit it during the whole year. The only thing I wouldn't propose is the far south. Is highly cold and unpleasant there and most attractions and hotels are finished in that area during the winter.

The seasons with most attractions are winter and summer, but in the same time they can be not so pleasant (too hot summer). Patagonia is a story for itself. Most of the year is very mild on the east and glacial on the south. But the weather there is very unpredictable and it can change drastically.

The leading things you should remember - summer lasts from December-March, the winter lasts from June-July. The best weather is in March, April, September, October and November.

Crowds in Argentina

Crowded times are normally during the high season (December-February and July-August) and during the holidays. Also, the spring break is also very crowded because the children are on a school break than. If you want to avoid the crowd, than I propose you to come during the low season.

Attractions in Argentina

There are many attractions in Argentina, some of them you can see during the whole year, and some of them are available only during some seasons. Here's an example:

Summer (Jan-Feb)Patagonia - trekking, horse riding, sightseeing in general, fishing
Andes - trekking, alpinism, horse riding

Autumn (Apr-May) Northwest - trekking, horse riding
Northeast - visiting Iguassu Falls

Winter (Jun-Aug)North Patagonia/Mendoza - skiing

Spring (Sep-Nov)Buenos Aires - the most beautiful season, especially in November with the jacarandas in blossom

The best time to save money

Like every other country Argentina too has parts of the year that are more or less crowded and more or less expensive. If you would like to save money than try to avoid high season (Dec-Feb and Jul-Aug). Also, try not advent in Argentina during the holiday cause prices goes up. If you want to enjoy in your vacation for a lower price than I propose you to come during the low season (September, April and June). Don't worry, weather is good during the low season too.

Have a nice trip!

Ok, you know the basic things about Argentina and the time you should go there. Now you can pack your clothes and start your adventure.

Good luck and have a great vacation!
